Summerboard Deck Bumpers V2 - Protection Guards

The all new Version 2 Bumpers are here! With a new set of features and some fixes, these bumpers offer increased protection, a more secure method of mounting, and look even better than before! The Version 2 Bumpers are now mounted into place with the trucks, meaning no more reliance on the bindings, nor excess bumper hanging awkwardly. The thickness on the outside edge alongside the increased length down the edge of the deck increase protection. With included washers, you don't need to source your own, nor deal with the nut spin through the mounting holes of the bumper.

If you ride a Summerboard SBX or SB1, you want to do everything you can to keep your ride in the best condition you can. However, taking your rides easy to avoid accidents can spoil the fun of owning a Summerboard to begin with. With these guards, protect the ends of the deck from damage due to collisions and flips.

Installation is simple! Remove the bindings from your deck, remove the outer two screws from the trucks, slide the bumpers into place until they are snug, (if you are not using the 1/4" riser pads, please add the included riser adapters in between the trucks and the bumper), put the screws back in place, add an included washer, and tighten the bolts. From here, you can reattach your bindings and shred with the increased protection for your board!

*11mm vs 8mm Deck Thickness*
Most boards will be 11mm (~.43") thick. However, some older boards are using a thinner 8mm (~.31") deck. Please measure the thickness of your deck to verify which size you need.

Included in the package are two bumpers, four washers, and four mini riser adapters. The mounting hardware included with the Summerboard is compatible with these deck guards.

All Summerboard Deck Guards are made to order per customer request.

This does not include the Summerboard.
